U.S: shutting reliable coal plants may lead to future blackouts

A new study shows that 14 million homes in the PJM transmission region are at risk of future loss of power because of the shuttering of dependable coal plants. This new report warns that the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic electric grid could face blackouts by 2028.
