India’s Coal Imports & Exports – June 2023

Total coal and coke imports of India after touching one of the high levels last month now for the Jun-23 touched three month low at 22.15 MMT imports level. The import level in Jun-23 registered a 21% YoY decline from the last year’s historical level of 28.16 MMT in Jun-22 and a 16% down on a MoM basis from the import level of 26.32 MMT in May-23.
