The latest assessment of Indian coal production showed a 10% year on yeay increase to 100mt in January.
After falling short of production goals for 16 consecutive years, Coal India is on track to exceed its production target for the 2nd year in a row. This will keep a lid on thermal coal imp and keep stockpiles high
