Weekly international coal price update

On Friday last, the price of European delivered future coal (July CIF ARA) closed at a fifteen week high of $ 368.50 from $ 310.35. API2 July contract gain $ 58 this week. As Europe gets ready to raise coal usage once more in response to Russia cutting off the supply of gas, prices are again moving north.
