India’s coal production up by 11% in February

In February 2024, India’s coal production showed a substantial growth rate of 11.6% compared to the same period last year, while cement production saw a notable increase of 10.2%. According to data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the index of eight core industries for February 2024 showed a growth of 6.7%, an increase from 4.1% in January 2024.
