The APEC economies: still relying on coal and other thermal sources for power generation

This report provides analysis of coal in 21 APEC economies. APEC’s power generation still relies on thermal sources with, 64.5% of power generation. Although renewable energy increased much faster than fossil fuels, it remains at a relatively low base.
