Weekly coal price review

The international prices of Indonesian coal improved for the week, however, Indian domestic prices continued to edge down amid India’s increasing domestic production, higher portside stock and the effect of monsoon season. China’s seaborne demand was felt during the week, but not to the extent to support the prices much. Australian High-CV coal price improved for the week after China’s increased demand for the material. The USA and Russian coal prices delivered to India both saw an upward trend during the week.
