Weekly coal price review: EU traders reselling coal to Asia

European coal imports dipped and at the same, its exports are rising since the EU is redirecting its coal stock to the Asian market. The lower consumption in the market is due to weather support and higher natural gas consumption. EU’s transition to clean energy marked a milestone in May with solar electricity generation surpassing all the power generated through coal power plants. South African prices also slumped this week amid higher availability of coal in the market. FOB RBCT 4800 NAR comes to $ 68 and 6000 NAR at $ 98- two year low levels.
