Yancoal is one of Australia’s largest coal exporters. The majority shareholder is Yanzhou Coal Mining Company (~62%), which is listed on HKEX and SSE. Yanzhou is, in turn, majority owned by Shandong Energy Group, a Chinese SOE and Fortune 500 company.
