Canadian coal exports reach 14$billion, of which 29% goes to Japan

Canada is among the top 10 coal exporters in the world. The country produced 48 Mt of coal in 2021, of which 57% is met coal and 43% thermal coal. Coal exports represented $14 billion 2022 of which 29% went to Japan.
