US Coal production increased from 985 MMt in 2013 to 1,000 MMt in 2014 (+1.5%). Number of producing coal mines decreased by 71 mines in 2014 (-4.4%). CMM emissions increased from 2013-2014 (83 Bcf to 89Bcf/40.1 MMtCO2e to 43.2 MMtCO2e)
