2019 Wyoming Coal Overview

Wyoming produces about 40 percent of the nation’s coal. With coal currently providing about 25-27 percent of America’s electricity generation, Wyoming coal provides about 11 percent of the electricity produced in this country. Source: Wyoming Mining Association
