India’s Monthly Coal Import & Export Report of August 2023

India’s total coal and coke imports ramped up with the slowdown in rain during August 2023 and imports stood at 20.60 million metric tons (MMT). The total imports in Aug 23 is up by 12% MoM from the 18.39 MMT level in July 2023. The imports however down by 12% from the August 2022 level of 23.46 MMT.
