In June, China’s power generation rose 6.5% y-o-y, thus H1 generation reached 3364.5 TWh, -1.4% y-o-y.
Coal plants seem to ramp up significantly, with thermal generation +5.4% in June despite the large increase of 6.9% in hydro (-17% in May).
