International coal prices continue upward trend

The thermal coal market continues to be influenced by the supply disruption stemming from the bridge collapse in Baltimore, USA, which occurred two weeks ago. This disruption is driving up prices for coal from the USA and South Africa. Meanwhile, Russian coal prices are also increasing, albeit procurement opportunities are becoming scarce. On the other hand, Indonesia and Australian coal prices are experiencing a bearish outlook due to reduced procurement from India and China.
