Weekly coal price review: prices continue upwards

The thermal coal market was bullish during the past week. The demand seemed to rise from the largest coal-importing countries. However, the higher prices were more influenced by the possible supply-side shortages in Indonesia and South Africa as well as the export duty imposed on coal in Russia (please see article on this topic for further reading).
